Thank you to all the members of the press who have worked with us, we have enjoyed every collaboration and look forward to future partnerships. In name, we would like to personally thank: the Thrillist Editor Steve Bryant and the ABC television network's Good Morning America anchorman Jeremy Hubbard. Thank you for including us in your holiday shopping men's fashion episode. The STEWART/STAND stainless steel wallet was included with every men's ensemble and as a native New Yorker, it was thrilling to see the segment replayed over the yellow cab companies automobile streaming services every time I hopped a cab around town. We are truly grateful and had so much fun collaboration on this project. A special thank you to Megan Portorreal, the editor of Cliche magazine. As much as we appreciate being added to a gift guide circulated by a respectable journalist or influencer... we love when our voice can be heard especially regarding our passions. Working we Cliche gave us an opportunity to discuss our eco-conscious ideals and how it drives our design. A call to action, we implore fellow designers to reconsider the materials and manufacturing processes they engage with. We believe our fans should expect more from the brands they love. We do our best to focus on eco-conscious design and we hope you enjoy the wide breadth of design we offer. Working with Racked was a wonderful experience. Tanisha Pina contributed a feature on how to wear metallics without over extending the trend. The focus for Racked emphasized accessories. It's the best solution to taking part in this amazing trend, and we are pleased assist in outfitting our fans with class. New York Magazine has fantastic fashion features. Our retail stores in Brooklyn were constantly written up for their great designer accessories, always mentioning our stainless steel wallets for men and women. The RFID feature we offer always took second or no mention, but being the world's first and best rated RFID blocking accessory seems to be an exciting bonus for anyone who comes across our brand as a fashionable choice. The Boston Globe was the first major newspaper to release a full article on us in the tech perspective. Mark Baard wrote about our stylish RFID technology and boasted our incredible timing in introducing the stainless steel wallet to the world. For this reason The Boston Globe is high on our list of press we appreciate. Elle Decor mentioned us in a wonderful article focusing on Sublime, an American Design store. The wooden cube occasional table and stool set designed by Penlope Mahot was also mentioned, as they were giddy to route the wonderful interior design finds from Sublime. Our flatlinks cufflink collection was also mentioned, since the retailer was excited to feature all avenues of ingenuity in American design. Editor Whitney Robinson's Elle Decor artile was a compelling emporium story. Our friends at Der Standard Rondo, especially Johannes Lau's Inspektor Gadget feature, was one of our first year press experiences. The thoughtful prose on our anti-theft design truly assisted us in writing up our product profiles. Kelsey Mulvey at The Wall Street Journal Magazine wrote up a pleasant article focusing on five stylish RFID-Blocking wallets. We were proud to be featured alongside Buxton, Alpha, Tumi, Data Safe, Kenkai and Access Denied… a beautiful photograph accompanied the piece by F. Martin Remini and was styled by the lovely Anne Cardenas. Thank you, to the Wall Street Journal for the thoughtful collaboration. WIRED Magazine marks the first big press we received in a reputable tech-focused journal. Brendon Spiegel focused his article around our Driving Wallet. He boasted our novel design of using metal in a flexible silky fabric in exchange for a basic metal case that would never be as accessible as our wallet design. The editors at ELUXE captivated us with Chiara Spagnoli Gabardi’s mention of STEWART/STAND in her “10 Vegan Brands We Love” series was a delightful addition to our press mentions. Honoring our material as a new fashion avenue for the usual polluting plastic materials that are chosen for most vegan design. Our stainless steel fabric is an eco-conscious choice, over all the other options out there that do not use organic and sustainable materials. Fortune magazine and Forbes both ran similar articles mentioning us in their gift guides for men and woman. The age-old question, “What do you buy for the guy or girl who has everything?” is answered with brands like us. Sold design work, a stylish approach with new and exciting materials is all the rage, especially with a crowd that has money to protect. Quartz magazine ran an incredible feature and included the sub title “The Perfect Gift for Edward Snowden”. It’s true, if you want to keep your identity private, for any reason not limited to protecting your bank accounts, our wallet will do just that. It may explain the large quantities of orders we receive from military bases around the world. The members of the United States Military have been loyal customers of ours from the beginning and we are proud to supply them with the perfect accessory to keep them safe while looking for a solution in identity discretion. Design Milk is one of my favorite websites. We have worked with Jamie Derringer in so many capacities over the years. She has unknowingly vetted our store stock in our design-led retail stores. She also has been an incredible asset to beOriginal Americas, supporting a safe environment for original design in the USA and abroad. Nanette Wong offered us a wonderful opportunity to present our products on their website. She ran a full feature on the entire collection for men and women. A follow-up piece by Caroline Williamson on designer card cases featured our RFID blocking business/credit card cases enveloped in a luxurious leather provided by Spinneybeck. The InStyle guide for gifting your groom and his groomsmen featured our flatlands cufflink collection, specifically our light blue style in sterling silver. Hilary Sterne, played out an impressive spread of options for their InStyle Weddings gift guide. Getting the stamp of approval from Men’s Journal made our hearts soar! Their “Men’s Journal Approved” gift guide featured our v-pouch card case in an article titled: “Best Wallets to hold your money, cards and phone.” Our official mention states “Best for keeping your cards safe from identity thieves”. Something we are incredibly proud of is our proximity to Pablos Holman. Probably the world’s most appreciated hacker and futurist, Pablos Holman has been on a mission to educate the public about the misunderstanding we have about technology and our safety. He constantly pokes holes in the idea that our information is discretely protected by demonstrating the ways a novice hacker with $6.00 to invest in a bit of tech ordered off the internet or purchased in a Radio Shack, can easily breach your data. I sincere thank you to the wonderful Pablos Holman. His tactic is something we approve of, the idea that knowledge is power, if we take a few minutes to educate ourselves we too can be powerful. This is an empowering process that has been reiterated at each one of his tech talks, and thankfully reaching a wide audience since his partnership with TED and TEDx. There isn’t much more we can say about Oprah Winfrey and her incredible side kick Adam Gassman. We are proud that Oprah has backed us up from the beginnings of introducing our brand to the world. The incredible support Oprah has given us is remarkable. A feature she titled “Good Credit” helped get the word out about RFID-protection every day. Her earlier mention of us in a Father’s Day Gift Guide, which was repeated around the holidays introduced her entire audience to traveling safe with an RFID blocking passport case… not to mention looking stylish while traveling. The impeccably styled Katrina from The Demure Muse added us to one of her Travel Blog Posts. This was a “What’s in My Purse?” feature, where she basically turns her handbag upside down and let’s her loyal followers sift through the amazing products she packs with her while on-the-road. Being featured next to Betsey Johnson, Ponds, Fresh Sugar, Canon (the camera company), Flips and You Smell was a lot of fun! The O’Reilly Emerging Technology conference is still going strong. Xenia Jardin and boingboingTV grabbed Pablos Holman, once again, while he was taking in some fresh air during a break. Being the dedicated educators that both Xeni Jardin and Pablos Homan are, they literally demonstrated the STEWART/STAND stainless steel wallet as a way to explain to viewers that their credit card data and personal identity information is up for grabs in this modern world. My favorite part of their conversation is when they explained that protecting just your credit card is not what they are concerned about. Over time or if you are traveling with several forms of identification for a trip, an identity thief can obtain your billing address, credit card numbers, place of birth, birthdate, passport number, the photograph on your passport, your mother’s maiden name, your home address, and so much more. With the combined information they can then do an incredible amount of damage to your credit score and even open up new credit card account or even mortgages in your name. We titled this on our website press page as “A fast eduction”. You can watch a short boingboingTV video and know everything you need to demystify the concept of identity theft and put the control to protect your data safely in your own hands. MR magazine’s 14 Gifts For Men, written by Brian Lipton was directed to retailers. Brian Lipton trolled the isles of the New York Now trade show in New York City, New York (formerly New York International Gift Show). He interacted with Buyers and Designers from leading companies to come up with an amazing assortment of products to look for in your favorite stores for holiday gifts… specifically not in the apparel category. These are gifts that are recommended for EVERY retail store. Apparel stores looking to add a gift section for the holidays, as well as general gift shops looking to up their men’s gift selection were directed to include STEWART/STAND in their offering. Working with The Today Show was a lot of fun. Ann Curry, Meredith Vieira, Matt Lauer and Al Roker gave a quick tour of the top gifts for men for Valentines Day, including STEWART/STAND. Being featured on a morning news show is nerve wrecking and exciting. The excitement that these news anchors expressed over our product line was thrilling to watch. Being promoted by The Today Show was a wonderful experience. Chic Par Germaine is a in fact a glossy magazine geared towards the high-class clientele of their impeccable hotels. This does not mean that the journal is a light read. The powerhouse editorial staff are constantly pushing the envelope with the intention of bringing quality original content to their loyal visitors. Stephanie Grey’s feature called “Off-Duty Style” featured STEWART/STAND and our stainless steel bill fold wallet. The Chic Par Germaine feature also included Saint Laurent, Sense, Ted Baker London, Alexander McQueen, Graphic Tees, Mexx, ECCO, as well as Person sunglasses. The uncrate feature of our checked texture driving wallet was exceptional. A write-up from this design-driven website introduced our product to a crowd that includes graphic designers, architects and other design aficionados. The Entrepreneur feature we took part in was a lot of fun. The article submitted by Stephanie Schomer included CEOs and Founders of STEWART/STAND, Paperless Post and Bucketfeet. We were each asked what we would gift our business partner for the holidays… it was our first and so far the only chance to mention our love of cats. We pounced on it and the recommendation to gift Paul a day at Meow Parlour in New York City is officially catalogued in Entrepreneur’s historic archives. We love working with the press.
